Abstract
This study examines the relationship between household income and children's health across the 0–6 age group, using RLMS HSE data from 2009 to 2021. General self-assessed health and presence of chronic conditions do not show statistically significant dependence on family income. However, stunting, as a more objective indicator, reveals a significant association between household income and the likelihood of health problems. Panel data analysis confirms the persistence of the socioeconomic gradient among children aged 1 to 5 years.
